A native of Washington, D.C., Tim Gunn is a television personality and fashion maven born on July 29, 1953. In 1982, he came to Parsons School for Design and became the associate dean seven years later, up until 2000, when he became the chair of fashion design. In 2004, Gunn was hired as judge on the reality competition, Project Runway, aired by the Bravo network. This isn't his only appearance in a reality series as he had his own program, Tim Gunn's Guide To Style, which aired on the same network in September of 2007. He also appeared on ABC's Ugly Betty as a version of himself. In February 2007, Gunn joined Liz Claiborne as the company's Chief Creative Officer. He has since made several TV appearances, such as those in How I Met Your Mother and Drop Dead Diva. He even had a bit role in the sequel to the movie, Sex and the City.
