Biography

Born on January 6, 1982, Tiffany "New York" Pollard is a reality television star popularized by her two stints on Flavor of Love , which featured Flavor Flav. On the reality dating series, Pollard was given the nickname "New York" by Flavor Flav himself. For its second run, he asked her to come back to the show, however, she was again eliminated, leaving her disgusted at the outcome. Pollard experienced conflicts not only with the other women in the show, but with Flavor Flav himself. In 2007, she was given her own reality dating series entitled I Love New York. In the freshman season, Pollard chose Tango, who, after a few months, called off their engagement. Due to the tumultuous events, Pollard was given a sequel to her first reality show, entitled I Love New York 2.

After ending a relationship with the man she thought she'd spend her life with, Tiffany "New York" Pollard took a second shot at love with I Love New York 2. Joining her then was her mother Sister Patterson, who had selected five out of the 20 men to compete for New York's heart. She chose Tailor Made, whose real name is George Weisgerber. Though she accepted his proposal, they ended their relationship during the series New York Goes to Hollywood. It chronicled her search for an acting job in 2009. Her next show was New York Goes to Work, where she looked for a regular job. However, the audience took a vote to give her another season of I Love New York.
