Born July 13, 1981in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Tiana Brown is a dancer who has worked with many of the world’s top artists. She trained at Dance of Iowa Academy, as well as the Broadway Dance Center in New York. Being a member of LA’s Finest, she has toured worldwide as a back-up dancer for music star Christina Aguilera. Tiana appeared on shows like Saturday Night Live, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno as part of the tour. She was also seen on several MTV productions, including the MTV Video Music Awards, the MTV European Awards and MTV Mardi Gras. She worked with Aguilera once again on the closing ceremony of the 2002 Winter Olympics at Salt Lake City.
Tiana Brown has also been featured on the American Music Awards, BET’s Comic View, TRL, the ESPY Awards and with N’Sync on the Grammy Awards. She can be seen on numerous music videos as well, alongside artists like Christina Milian, the Black Eyed Peas and Britney Spears. Brown was also on a TV commercial for iPod with Mary J. Blige. She has had experience with aspiring stars before her stint on High School Musical: Get in the Picture. She worked with LA’s Finest to hold workshops for interested teenagers all over the country. She also taught with the Universal Dance Association and was an instructor at camps for high school dance teams in national competitions in Disneyland. Tiana has also created her own dance workshop, Get Down with Tiana Brown.
