Theo Gantt III was featured as a member of the cast in the eleventh season of the MTV reality television series The Real World, which was set in Chicago. He was born on September 2, 1982 in Riverside, California, and is he son of a pastor. While he remains strongly faithful and religious, he’s still capable of socializing with women quite often. During his initial arrival in Chicago and introduction to the other housemates, he finds himself attracted to Aneesa, but she doesn’t feel the same way since she doesn’t prefer men. Instead, they form a close platonic bond akin to siblings, treating each other as brother and sister.
Gantt constantly finds himself at odds with Tonya, but as quick as they are to get into arguments, he’s also just as quick to apologize. He is often shown to be a naïve but amiable guy who loves parties, and has a kind heart. While he Gantt does not quite see eye to eye with Chris and Aneesa being gay, he still treats them tolerantly as good friends, and he also shares a room with Aneesa in the show. He has also majored in architecture in college, and while his parents have undergone a divorce, he tries not to let it affect him negatively.
