Former NFL players Akbar Gbaja-Biamila, Robert Ortiz and Ricky Sharpe rose to football fame at San Diego State University. Since then, they’ve pursued their own careers. Akbar became a linebacker for the Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers, where Robert played wide receiver. Ricky, meanwhile, joined the Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins. They’ve since proven how competitive they are, which is why they decided to join the reality competition Expedition Impossible. They are one of the 13 teams who will travel to Morocco to face untamable animals and the wild, all for a chance to win the grand prize: $50,000 for each team member and a new Ford Explorer.
