Biography

Taran Hourie Killam was born on April 1, 1982 in Culver City, California. This comedian graduated from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. Soon, he found himself making appearances on both film and television. In 1994, he started out with a small role on the film Naked Gun 33 1/2: The Final Insult.

Since then, Taran Killam was seen on a number of small-screen works. He was cast on Judging Amy in 2000, as well as on Touched by an Angel. He was later seen on The Amanda Show, continuing his appearances with Roswell and Undressed.

He did, however, make a name for himself for being the youngest cast member on MadTV. Killam was 19 when he joined the sketch program's 2001-2002 season. He was known for impersonating actors like Josh Hartnett, Tobey Maguire and Dustin Diamond. Later on, he became a regular on the third and fourth seasons of Nick Cannon's Wild 'N Out. Nobody's Watching, which only aired online as webisodes.

Other appearances of Killam's include those on Jake in Progress, Drake & Josh, Do Over, abd Boston Public. He was also known for playing Jimmy (The Overly Touchy Orderly) on the Bill Lawrence's comedy series Scrubs. He was even a contestant on The Price is Right.

In 2004, this member of The Groundlings took on a role on the Disney Channel Original Movie called Stuck in the Suburbs. He was also on films like Just Married and Big Fat Liar. However, he got even more famous when he made it to the 36th season of Saturday Night Live in 2010. There, he became known for his impressions of Michael Cera, Pee-Wee Herman, Chris Pine and Brad Pitt.
