Originally from Christ Church, Barbados, Tamesha Warren became known as the sous chef at The Oval Room. She graduated from The Art Institute of New York City on the President’s List, going on to work at the famous Jean Georges restaurant in the big apple, where she earned gold and silver medals from the American Culinary Federation.
As the sous chef in one of Washington’s “power restaurants,” she cooks modern American food with French and Asian twists, in addition to a “modern” and “youthful” edge that she adds to her masterpieces. She also gained fame as one of the 17 chefs competing on the seventh season of Bravo’s Top Chef. She was eliminated on the 6th episode, but she continued her work at The Oval Room.
