Tameka Jacobs was born in California and was adopted by an African American family. At an early age, she studied ballet, tap and jazz. She also enrolled in acting, public speaking and modeling. With this kind of groundwork, Tameka landed a job as a reporter for KYLD94.9, one of San Francisco's top radio stations. Eventually, she appeared on music videos, magazines, and commercials which led to her connection with established models in the industry such as Tyra Banks and Iman. This rising yet grounded celebrity remains humble as she helps young women in foster homes and adoption agencies.
Seeing Tameka Jacobs star in her movie is far from impossible. With her credentials plus her exposure to the television show Deal or No Deal, she is definitely someone to watch out for. As a model in the game show, she currently holds case number 21 permanently.
Tameka also used as assistant for syndicated daytime version along with Patrica Kara concurrently running during the season; is one of two assistants on current syndicated daytime version for Season 1 (2008-09), Season 2 (2009-10). In the daytime version, one assistant spins the wheel, and the other drops a ball into the wheel. They also assist contestants holding the cases off the stage.
