Susan Hawk Biography:

Susan “Sue” Hawk was born on August 17, 1961 in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She was a student at Waukesha South Campus High School and has worked as a truck driver, a horse trainer, bartender and owner of an Ontario-based hunting and fishing camp. A lover of the outdoors, among Hawk’s favorite activities are hunting, swimming and fishing. After her participation on Survivor: Borneo, Hawk and her husband, Tim, relocated to Las Vegas, where she set up an establishment called Juices Wild, and became a TV Guide Channel correspondent and magazine writer.

As a contestant on Survivor: Borneo, Hawk easily became one of the show’s top picks for the winner. However, she lost the admiration of many when, during the final tribal council, she verbally attacked tribe member Kelly Wigglesworth. As part of the jury, Hawk had the opportunity to manipulate the outcome of the show, and she made it clear that she wanted Richard Hatch to emerge as the Sole Survivor.

Hawk, along with Hatch, returned to the show for Survivor: All-Stars, and was gradually becoming one of the strongest competitors in the special season until an encounter with Hatch compelled her to leave the show prematurely after spending only 16 days in the Pearl Islands. Hawk was part of the Chapera tribe.
