Born on May 27, 1973, Steven is a geographic consultant by day and a rodeo competitor by night. This cowboy has won numerous rodeo contests, and is a champion bull rider in the gay rodeo circuit. He studied at the Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. He later earned his Bachelor’s Degree in General Agriculture/Marketing at the University of North Texas in Denton. Graduating is considered as his proudest accomplishment. Steven also worked on a master’s degree in Applied Geography, and has a job in cartography, making maps.
Describing himself as spontaneous, Steven has hauled horses around the country and taken people on horseback riding treks in the past. He has brought tourists to the Colorado Rockies and is also a camp director in a children’s camp.
Steven is also outgoing and outrageous. He wants a romantic partner who is strong and masculine, while being smart and financially secure. He likes spending time outside with his dog, a one-eyed miniature Daschund he named Payton. His other favorite activity is watching television. Steven is fond of watching Heroes, Project Runway and Nip/Tuck. He watched one season of the show, and became a fan after seeing season 8. He lists former rodeo cowboy Chris Le Doux as his hero, who has now become a country music star.
Steven is part of the International Gay Rodeo Association (IGRA), where he rides in rodeo competitions across major cities in America. He also claims to have separated his shoulder in a bull-riding accident. He took a year off and is waiting to make a comeback. Steven sees himself as extremely good at reading people. He also takes pride at being able to manipulate them and do what he wants them to do. He claims to be unique and random, and says that everyone who has met him likes him.
On Big Brother, he was evicted on Day 16 despite his friendship with Angie, Keesha, Dan and Brian.
