Born in Tampere, Finland, the 35-year-old spent most of his childhood in Germany, where he eventually took culinary training. He grew to prominence when he became part of the culinary team at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, and moved on to work as executive chef for numerous restaurants. He is currently based in Los Angeles, where he maintains his own business, Stefan’s Catering.
