Also known as Jonathan, Stan was a former male stripper who got used to taking off his clothes for money. He is not particularly used to putting on a fancy suit to earn his paycheck. The change of style is a must if he wants to make it on the Jamie Foxx-produced reality show From G’s to Gents. If he’s going to do any stripping on the show, it’s to get rid of his G persona and don a stylish and classy exterior.
Stan defines a G using only one criterion: the ladies he gets. He knows he’s a true G in that aspect, even though he admits to never having “made love” to a woman. He hasn’t done anything gentlemanly for anyone either. Definitely not the Don Juan in anyone’s eyes, Stan has never even held a door open for a woman. He might have thrown one or two compliments to some of them before, but he still hasn’t done so in the manner that marks a true fellow. Stan will become skilled at knowing what it means to respect others, just as he wants to be respected.
Born and raised in Detroit, Stan has developed a character that pushes him to pursue things he wants. It was a trying time for him as a young man, but he has learned to appreciate the little things life has to offer. In that neighborhood, he has gained talents that he wouldn’t have otherwise pursued. These talents may be unique, but Stan has to find out if they make the distinguished ladies satisfied. He still has more to discover as he undergoes training under the sophisticated Fonzworth Bentley. With trying to please people with his job, Stan might just have the potential to be a gentleman. He is driven by the change he wants to acquire, but hopes that it would be enough for him to win.
