Born on October 7, 1995 in Arlington, Texas, Slade Pearce is an American actor. He has appeared in several print ads and commercials, and developed a passion for acting. He later convinced his mother to move to Los Angeles, and he has since then appeared on various television and movie productions. He was immediately offered a role on the first episode of the sitcom Hope & Faith, which led him to book major roles in other projects.
In 2005, Slade Pearce was cast as Mick North in the family comedy film Yours, Mine and Ours. His work on the big screen enabled him to work with actors Dennis Quaid, Rene Russo, Sean Faris, Katija Pevec, Danielle Panabaker, and Drake Bell. Pearce was nominated for Best Performance in a Feature Film - Young Ensemble Cast and for the Young Artist Awards in 2006 because of his role in the film. That year, he was given a part in an episode of Crossing Jordan. His next performance was in the Disney film Air Buddies, where he was cast in the lead role. When filming was over, he brought home one of the puppies (Mudbud) from the set. Pearce followed up the film with a role in the acclaimed series House M.D. He next starred on the ABC drama series October Road, portraying the intelligent and charming son of Hannah Daniels, Sam. Some of his co-stars include Bryan Greenberg, Laura Prepon, Brad William Henke, Geoff Stults, Tom Berenger, Jay Paulson, Evan Jones, Warren Christie, Odette Yustman, Jonathan Murphy and Rebecca Field. When the series was canceled, Pearce took on the role of Henry Benzing on the series Ghost Whisperer. He later got a part on the comedy feature Playboys, as well as completing the David M. Evans-directed film Tranced. In 2008, the actor was also seen on a TV commercial for the Walmart company.
