She used to run Bella Azul, a posh clothing boutique in Atlanta, which carried several designer lines. The venture was a success, and she catered to a large celebrity and affluent customer base with custom-tailored outfits and styling. She closed shop in 2006 and decided to focus instead on establishing her own clothing line, She by Sheree.
She married Whitfield, then playing for the Atlanta Falcons, in lavish ceremonies. They raised three children—Tierra, Kairo and Kaleigh—before separating in 2008, citing irreconcilable differences. Nevertheless, she pushed through with juggling her entrepreneurial pursuits, her social life and her family life, a struggle which is one of the many things highlighted in the reality series The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She had a feud with cast mate NeNe Leakes earlier in the show, but has since forgiven her.
