An aspiring model, Shay (short for Shalandra), rose to fame as one of the contestants on season 4 of Beauty and the Geek. She worked as a bartender and is a former beauty pageant queen from Little Rock, Arkansas. She also majored in communications at Pulaski Tech. During her free time, she enjoys shopping, modeling and skating.
Shay was paired with astrophysicist
Joshua. During the first week of the competition, they were stuck together because they each scored the lowest on their preliminary skills tests. From there, Shay went on to win the third grade teaching challenge. Unfortunately, they were the seventh couple to eliminated when they were bested by William and Jennifer.
