Shannon “Shamo” Walters is one of the twenty castaways of Survivor: Samoa. The 45-year-old lives in Renton, Washington, where she works in sales. Before that, she worked as a chef, and before that, she served as a Marine Sergeant for five years. While not being a dedicated salesperson, she rides her Harley, which she calls “Chunky”, and hangs out with her family and her dogs.

She spent a lot of time preparing for the competition, having lost 70 pounds along the way. While admitting that she might have trouble not drawing attention to herself, she thinks her people skills and energy will tide her through the competition with ease.
