Shane Sheckler became known for being featured as one of the members of the cast in the MTV reality television series Life of Ryan. He is the middle child of the Sheckler brood, looking up to Ryan as his older brother and looking after Kane as his younger brother. He has been described as just a typical teenager like his famed older sibling, who enjoys going to school and hanging out with his peers, as well as the art of skateboarding during his spare time. Both Ryan and Shane are said to have a very strong relationship, and the younger Sheckler aspires to follow in Ryan’s successful footsteps.
Ryan believes that Shane also has the ability and talent to become a professional skateboarder as well, citing how impressed he is with Shane’s own skills on a board. However, despite their good relations, Shane still has to deal for now with living in the shadow of his brother. He’s also attempting to cope with the recent divorce of their parents. Throughout all this, Ryan has remained a guiding figure during these tough times, strengthening and affirming the bond between the two of them.
