Samantha Potter was eighteen when she became one of the contestants of the 11th cycle of America's Next Top Model. Born in Woodland Hills, California, she was a student at the time of the show. She also played for her school's varsity teams, and was particularly fond of volleyball and soccer. She also ran cross country and track.
In the fourth episode of ANTM, Samantha was almost eliminated after offending designer Jeremy Scott by lifting up her dress in his runway show. She landed in the bottom two, but Isis was eliminated instead. Samantha went on to win two reward challenges in the 10th episode. First, she won 50 extra frames after finding her house in The Netherlands the fastest with partner Elina. Then, she and McKey won a challenge in which they had to model outfits in the Red Light District.
Samantha went on to make it to the final two this season but ultimately lost to McKey. Since the show, she has appeared in an episode of The Big Bang Theory, along with fellow competitor Analeigh Tipton. She also continued her modeling career, signing with L.A. Model Management.
