Sabra Elise Johnson is the winner of the third season of the FOX network’s reality television series So You Think You Can Dance. She started training as a dancer at the age of 16 with the Dance Impressions studio, and also appeared in a supporting role in the Disney Channel original movie High School Musical as one of the background ensemble students. Sabra has studied different dance forms such as contemporary, jazz, ballet, modern dance, and hip-hop, as well as having theater and gymnastics training. She classifies her dance techniques and style as mainly contemporary, and she says that her favorite professional dancer is Roderick George, though no one else in her family dances professionally.
Apart from the world of dancing, Sabra also enjoys a number of different hobbies. Among these are watching movies, studying different languages, traveling, and even sewing. She considers herself independent and able to take care of herself, and she hopes that from her stint on the show, she’ll be able to grow into a better dancer in all aspects. Sabra hopes to dance professionally as part of a company within the next ten years. She also says that her most memorable dance experience was a weekend workshop in Park City, Utah.BuddyTV Exclusive Interview with Sabra Johnson
