Russell Hornsby

 

Biography

Russell Hornsby is best known for his roles as Eddie Sutton on ABC Family's "Lincoln Heights" and Luke on HBO's "In Treatment".

Russell Hornsby took interest in acting after auditioning for a high school production of The Wiz. He later took up theater at Boston University, and also trained at the British Academy of Dramatic Arts. He then moved to New York where he appeared in several off-Broadway productions.

Hornsby later moved to Los Angeles to pursue film and television roles. His first regular television role was in the ABC series "Gideon's Crossing". He later appeared in the short-lived "Haunted", and recurred in "Playmakers". He later starred in ABC Family's "Lincoln Heights" and HBO's "In Treatment".

Hornsby currently stars in NBC's Grimm.
