Born on December 18, 1978 in Freeport, Illinois, Ravi Patel is an actor of East Indian decent. He made his acting debut in the 2006 independent feature Boys and Girls Guide to Getting Down as Rajiv. The film won five awards at the Los Angeles Film Festival in the same year. His other screen credits include small roles on the comedy It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Dr. Patel on another comedy Scrubs, and the 2007 blockbuster Transformer. In the 2008, he appeared on the MTV Awards as himself. In 2009, he was cast in the Fox series Past Life.
