Wedding videographer Randy Bailey is one of the contestants of the reality series Survivor: Gabon. Born on March 31, 1959, the true-blue Texan graduated with an engineering degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, but decided to pursue a career as a wedding videographer, as he can choose his own schedule. He’s participated in over a hundred triathlons, including two Ironman tournaments in Hawaii, but he claims he hasn’t left his couch in a long time.
Randy admits to being a train wreck. He claims to not have any living relatives aside from a distant brother, and says the only person he’s “loved” is his recently deceased pet dog. He aims to be responsible for crushing his competitors’ dreams of winning Survivor; he enjoys picking on those who he believes are not blessed with his strength or intellect. He joined the show because he wants a long vacation where he can get away from his life. The self-described sarcastic (yet charming) bully guarantees victory in the game only if it isn’t “poisoned” with many twists.
