A lawyer and bodybuilder from Elgin, Illinois, Punk graduated from Harvard Law School and considers himself to be religious. Punk became known for being one of five men chosen by Sister Patterson for her daughter, New York to appear as a Mama’s Boy on I Love New York 2.
Tiffany "New York" Pollard took a second shot at love together with Punk, one of 20 contestants on VH1's reality dating series, I Love New York 2. He was eliminated on episode 10, but he continued his career as a professional wrestler. He then appeared a developmental contract with WWE and debuted in 2009. The next year, he was on the first season of WWE NXT. He has also gotten married, and has a son with singer and actress Jennifer Hudson.
