The mean streets of San Diego were able to create the G that is Pretty Ricky. Growing up in a broken home led to one career choice for the man, and that was to become a professional fighter. A little self-centered, Pretty Ricky knows he’s as tough as nails. His friends don’t really think so, admitting that he’s not quite as sharp. Pretty Ricky has showed them, however, that he developed himself as a self-made man. His charisma took him to where he is, which also gave him the trait of being very outgoing.
Lenny, as he is also known, exudes confidence that is set to infect and influence. Getting through that shield of his is pretty tough, but once you manage that, you’ll know the real Pretty behind Ricky. He admits to being down to earth, and also knows that laughing is the key to living. He believes in treating others the way he wants to be treated, an edge he has over the contestants of From G’s to Gents. Ricky is of Filipino, Italian and French descent, and refers to himself as “That Badboy you love to hate.”
Pretty Ricky is motivated by his ex-girlfriend. The aspiring action star wants to prove to her that he is more than a buff body-builder with a wacky fashion sense. He believes that being a gentleman will make the girl realize that there’s more to Ricky than meets the eye. He also lists his parents as his heroes, along with other celebrities like Sylvester Stallone, LL Cool J, and Jean Claude Van Damme. He wants to join these movie stars and wishes that he would soon be on the big screen like them. Ricky refers to himself as someone caring and loyal, but he needs to polish his skills to be able to absorb the style and etiquette that come with being a man of the world.
