Nick Dunning Biography:
Nick Dunning started his acting career on stage by working with the Royal Shakespeare Company, The Royal National Theater and The Royal Court Theater. In 1981, he made his big screen debut in the British film, Remembrance, and followed it with roles in the films Lamb, Way Upstream, London Kills Me and Into the Blue. His career in the American entertainment industry has been quite successful as well, having appeared in Oliver Stone’s Alexander and Jim Sheridan’s In America. Presently, Dunning is appearing in the Showtime miniseries, The Tudors.
Thomas Boleyn, Earl of Wiltshire is portrayed by Nick Dunning in the miniseries, The Tudors. In the hopes of gaining a more beneficial relationship with King Henry the VIII, Thomas ends up putting his very own family members at the King’s careless disposal. Not only does he let King Henry the VIII get involved with his daughter, Mary, Thomas also lets the King pursue his other daughter, Anne. In the process, Thomas becomes one of King Henry the VIII’s trusted diplomats.
