Biography

Natalie Katherine Neidhart was born on May 27, 1982 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. A professional wrestler, she is signed with World Wrestling Entertainment, and works on its Smackdown and ECW brands. She trained in the infamous Hart family “Dungeon,” with the help of her uncles Ross and Bruce Hart. Natalya has also received training in amateur wrestling, as well as mixed martial arts. She has also established herself as the first third-generation female wrestler in the world.

From the latter months of 2000 to early 2001, Natalya Neidhart became the host and ring announcer of MatRats, a youth-promotion led by Eric Birschoff. Her next major endeavor came in 2003, when she worked for the Hart Family’s Stampede Wrestling. There, she began a feud with Belle Lovitz, which led to them joining forces in 2005 to defeat the Myers Family.

Neidhart continued to develop her skills, wrestling abroad and accepting bookings to England and Japan. She later returned to Canada as a villainous character, calling herself “Nasty Nattie.” Soon, she became the first to win the Stampede Women's Pacific Championship, but vacated the title later on. She also won the SuperGirls Championship from Lisa Moretti at a Big Time Wrestling show held by NWA: Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling in Newark, California, but lost it to Nikki Matthews.

In 2007, Neidhart signed a contract with WWE and was assigned to the developmental territory, Deep South Wrestling. After half a year, she was transferred to Florida Championship Wrestling. Later, she debuted in Ohio Valley Wrestling, then as a member of the Next Generation Hart Foundation with her cousins.

Her main roster debut was as a heel on the April 4, 2008 episode of SmackDown, aiding Victoria against Michelle McCool and Cherry. Two weeks later, Natalya made her televised in-ring debut, where she defeated Cherry. Natalya continued to compete in several tag team matches, but later debuted on the ECW brand. It was there that she managed her real life boyfriend, Tyson Kidd (TJ Wilson).
