Biography

Naima Adedapo is a Top 13 finalist on the tenth season of American Idol. Born in Maywood, Illinois, she auditioned in Milwaukee. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, she taught African dance and hip-hop in the past 14 years, and was also part of reggae band RAS Movement with her husband. Prior to joining the show she performed janitorial duties at the Summerfest in Milwaukee. She was also a finalist in the MTV series Making the Band. She was eliminated during the second Top 11 week, alongside Thia Megia.
