Meet the Cast of 'Make Me A Supermodel' Season 2
Mountaha is a Brazilian-born model who moved to the United States seven years ago. She has modeled since he was 14, while studying International Business in Tampa, Florida. She has since lived in New York City with her brother while working at a clothing boutique in the West Village. To keep up with the fast-paced world of modeling, she regularly reads (and enjoys) fashion magazines. In addition to that, she has a fondness for poetry books and is inspired by the scent of vintage clothing.
Mountaha decided to try her luck by going on the hit Bravo reality series Make Me A Supermodel
. There, she became one of 16 contestants to compete for $100,000 and a contract with New York Model Management. Joining the aspiring models is show host Tyson Beckford, who plays mentor along with Nicole Trunfio. Helping out the group is this season’s panel of esteemed judges, including world-renowned designer Catherine Malandrino, model Jenny Shimizu, celebrated photographer Perou and international model scout Marlon.
For the premiere episode of Make Me A Supermodel
, the edgy Mountaha worked well with her partner, Sandhurst, as they posed in the Plexiglass box for the first challenge. She proved that she is a force to be reckoned with on the runway due to her ability to pose, as well as for photo shoots. As a pixie stick in the second episode, she breezed through the challenge but didn’t get high marks.
Mountaha’s makeover was flattering, as she was given white blonde hair. But the subsequent episode became more difficult for her, since she isn’t used to the poses. The series’ third challenge found the models suspended by wires while trying their best to depict action in sports. Having a background in fashion didn’t help her, but it was enough to keep her safe until the next round. She lasted until the twelfth episode, and was eliminated right before the finale, earning fourth place. Since the show, she signed with New York Model Management in New York.
