Monica Raymund was actively acting since she was in high school, eventually graduating from the Juilliard School in New York City. She then began acting on stage, appearing in several productions in New York as well as in her hometown of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Raymund had appeared in a couple of short films, and made her television appearance in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. In 2009 she joined the cast of the Fox series Lie To Me, as gifted "human lie detector" Ria Torres. After Lie to Me got canceled, she moved on to guest star on Blue Bloods and landed a stint on The Good Wife as Dana Lodge. In 2012, she became one of the cast members of the TV series Chicago Fire.
