Misty Giles Biography:
Misty Giles was born on February 25, 1981 in Valdosta, Georgia. She is no stranger to competition, having participated in varsity sports and later won the title of Miss Texas Teen USA 1999. Currently, she is working as an engineer at a premiere advanced technology corporation and is pursuing a master's degree. Moreover, she is undergoing training to become a marathon runner. Among her interests are engaging in political discussions, running, kickboxing, playing with her two Boston Terriers, and spending time with her good friends. She craves adventure and exhibits great determination. She considers her faith and work ethic as her best personal attributes. Her passion for youth has made her a strong and encouraging mentor to young girls.
Her competitive attitude led her to join the 12th installment of the Survivor series, Survivor: Panama-Exile Island. She was originally part of the Bayoneta tribe, but due to a reshuffling after the first elimination, Giles found herself part of the La Mina tribe. She was the third to be voted off the island because of her weak performances during the challenges, and because her intelligence served as a threat to the other cast members.
