Inspired by her older siblings, Mireille Enos studied at the High School for Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, planning to pursue an acting career. After graduating from Brigham Young University she became a mainstay in Broadway, notably earning a Tony nomination in 2005 for her role in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf.
Enos also chalked up numerous appearances on television, including stints in Sex and the City, Shark and Lie To Me. Notably she played twin sisters Kathy and Jodeen Marquart in HBO's Big Love. She recently took the lead role in AMC's The Killing.
Enos, a member of the Jesus Church of Latter-Day Saints, is married to actor Alan Ruck.
