Mike Borassi is one of the twenty castaways of Survivor: Samoa. The 62-year-old New York native now lives in Marina del Ray, California. He works as a personal chef, after 30 years in the food service business, and the odd stint as the coach of the Boston University football team. Married without children, he enjoys spending time with friends, as well as gardening and working out—and he cannot stand bad drivers, bigots, Republicans and those who mess with his kitchen tools.
A true Survivor fan, he’s watched every single episode and lost 30 pounds in preparation for the show. He joins this season after almost flying out to Tocantins for the last season, and is bent on being cooperative and low-key throughout the game, stepping up when needed and seeing those who try to take charge “self-destruct”.
