Michele Balan came from New York. She was voted as one of the "Top 10 Comics" by Backstage Magazine in 2004. Previously, she performed in popular comedy clubs, theaters, festivals and on Comedy Central. She even recorded the critically-acclaimed DVD "LIVE Just Barely"

Moreover, she became part of the reality television show Last Comic Standing season 4 as one of the contestants. Sadly, she was eliminated on episode 9.
