Commonly known as Michael K. Williams, the Brooklyn, New York native was born in 1966. The actor has a very visible scar that runs across his face that actually helped him launch his career. He appeared in singer R. Kelly's rap opera, Trapped in the Closet, and had brief stints in popular shows such as Alias, The Sopranos

. He is currently starring in HBO's police drama, The Wire.
Omar Little is a stick-up man, someone who earns his daily bread by holding up drug dealers. His gang of bandits is very small compared to the massive Barksdale organization. Omar is a homosexual man who is a stickler for details, he maintains a strict code and makes sure that his rules will always be followed, such as his refusal to steal from people who are not part of the drug business. Despite his work, Omar is not comfortable using profanity, unlike other people who are prevalent on the streets. In 2010, he was cast on the HBO series about the Prohibition Era called Boardwalk Empire.
