Frosti was a member of the Zhan Hu tribe until a tribal shake up, after which he found himself on the Fei Long tribe. After losing individual immunity, Frosti was voted off by a vote of 7-1 and became the third member of the jury. It looked like Frosti and Courtney Yates were becoming something of an item, but those notions were squashed when Courtney cold-heartedly decided to vote against him.Exclusive Interview: Michael 'Frosti' Zernow
Michael “Frosti” Zernow appears as a contestant on the 15th season of the hit CBS reality television series, Survivor: China. He was born on February 15, 1987 to a family of both Russian and Japanese descent. He is a native of Traverse City in Michigan, though he’s presently living in Chicago and studying film there at Columbia College. During his earlier days in high school, he was the captain of both their track team and wrestling squad. He also practiced aikido, which both of his parents taught him. Another memorable point during his high school days was when he was suspended, for getting caught dressing up as a ninja and climbing onto the roof of the school.
He has been free-running and practicing Parkour for more than five years, having been hired as a traceur for corporate events and television advertisements. Among these were one of Madonna’s world tours. The sport of Parkour is essentially turning one’s environment into an obstacle course to be run, jumped and climbed through. Apart from his athletic leanings, he enjoys different hobbies and pastimes such as art appreciation, skateboarding, and social philosophy. He has also recently traveled to Hong Kong for a hiking trip up a mountain.
