Actor Michael Fassbender was born on April 2, 1977 in Heidelberg, Germany. A few years after his birth, his parents moved to Killarney, Ireland, where he spent most of his childhood. While there, he attended St. Brendan’s secondary school. After attending the Drama Centre in London, he started acting in 2001, initially establishing himself through British productions. He played roles in programs such as Hearts and Bones, NCS Manhunt and Holby City, and also took a role in the acclaimed war miniseries Band of Brothers. He is also known for starring in several British one-off television dramas.
Fassbender’s most famous role came in 2004, when he was cast in the British fantasy series Hex. Throughout the show’s two seasons, he played the role of Azazeal, leader of the “fallen angels” called the Nephilim, who seduces women throughout the ages to assure his group’s freedom. In 2005, he became part of the cast of the British drama series Murphy’s Law, appearing only in its third season as Caz Miller. Another project of Fassbender’s is voicing Dracula in the radio play Book at Bedtime of BBC North Ireland in November of 2003. He also starred in a music video by the British band, The Cooper Temple Cause, for their song “Blind Pilots.”
Fassbender has also appeared in several films. He had roles in films such as Angel, Wedding Belles, Town Creek, Cassandra’s Dream and 300. He has also performed for stage: his more notable work include Allegiance, which was exhibited at the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and the stage adaptation of Quentin Tarantino’s first film, Reservoir Dogs, which he also directed and produced. In 2008, Fassbender starred in Hunger and Eden Lake, and signed on to portray characters in Creek, Fish Tank, The Sweeney. He has also been known to play the British soldier Lt. Archie Hicox in Quentin Tarantino’s war epic Inglorious !$#!#s.
He compleed filming Centurion and Jonah Hex in 2009. Town Creek changed to Blood Creek and got limited release in the U. S.
He is living with Leasi Andrews in L. A. they are going out for approximately a year. He previously went out with Sam Neill's step-daughter
