Boasting of many talents, Melissa teaches pilates, hip-hop, burlesque and pole-dancing. She admits to being high-maintenance, getting a lot of looks and having men chase after her. Melissa thinks she’s pretty petite, and she sometimes gives in to her tears quickly when faced with conflict. Even so, she knows when to put on a brave face and deal with problems.
On board the pink bus, Melissa became known as one of the contestants in Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels. For the third installment of the show, she joined 19 other ladies in competing for the attention and affection of rock-and-roll musician Bret Michaels. The girls underwent a variety of challenges as they accompanied Bret on tour across America. Each time the buses made a stop in a new city, surprises greeted these women until one of them stood out and found her way to Bret’s heart.
Melissa was unfortunately eliminated on episode 3, when Bret found out she called her boyfriend during her time in the competition. She also denied she had a cellphone, which made the musician stop trusting her.
