American actress, model and sex symbol Melinda Clarke was born April 24, 1969 in Dana Point, CA. She is the daughter of ballet dancer Patricia Clarke, and actor John Clarke. At the age of 18, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career in acting and modeling.
Melinda Clarke began her acting career when she appeared in Days of Our Lives, where her father was a senior cast member. She followed this up with a role on both seasons of Soldier of Fortune, Inc., portraying the character Margo Vincent. Some of her other guest appearances were on Xena: Warrior Princess, Firefly, Charmed and had a memorable appearance on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Clarke has also been seen on episodes of Seinfeld, Sliders, The George Carlin Show, Nash Bridges and Star Trek: Enterprise. She later appeared initially as a guest star on the hit FOX drama The O.C., but because of the success of the series, she was again offered a contract for her role. She was cast as the cunning socialite Julie Cooper-Nichol, who became an integral part of the show’s storylines. When the series ended in 2007, Clarke found herself appearing on other popular series. She was seen as a recurring character on HBO’s Entourage, on several episodes of The District, and guest roles in Everwood and Charmed. She also voiced several voices in the series Avatar: The Last Airbender. She later appeared as the Devil’s girlfriend on The CW’s series Reaper. Clarke is also known for her appearance on the TV production She Drives Me Crazy, a drama also starring Krista Bridges, Michael Seater and Chris Potter. In 2008, she lent her voice to the animated King of the Hill, and was seen on an episode of Chuck, created by The O.C.’s Josh Schwartz. Clarke is also an actress volunteer for the Young Storytellers Foundation.
She has a brother, Joshua, and a sister, Heidi, who died in 1995 due to a malignant heart tumor. She has a daughter, Catherine Grace. They reside in Beverly Hills, California. Height is 5'7
