She auditioned with "Toxic" by Britney Spears, getting her a spot on Team Adam.

She won her battle round singing "Lights" by Ellie Goulding against Caitlin Michele and then won her knockout round singing "Bulletproof" by La Roux against Sam James.

During the playoff round, he sang "Hit the Road Jack" by Ray Charles. She failed to clinch the 2 spots for the contestants with the most votes. However, she was saved by Adam and moved on as one of the top 12.

He performed "Cough Syrup" by Young the Giant for her Top 12 performance and was voted through to the next round.

Martinez then pulled off a good performance when she sang "Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes for her Top 10 performance. She had an iTunes top 10 hit and was once again voted to the next round.

For the next round, Martinez performed "Too Close" by Alex Clare, wherein she had another iTunes top 10 hit and moved on to the next round.

She then performend "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkely and "The Show" by Lenka for her Top 6 performances. She failed to hit the iTunes top 10 this time and got eliminated on the next results show.
