Meaghan Jette Martin is a singer actress who gained worldwide fame for her role as Tess Tyler in the Disney Channel original movies Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. Prior to her breakthrough role, however, she has appeared on several TV series, including Close to Home, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Just Jordan.
At the tender age of 5, Martin got exposed to the modeling world, as well as the theater circuit. She performed in several Las Vegas productions and simultaneously appeared on commercials for Barbie and Cabbage Patch Kids.
Martin, who is also credited for providing the voice of Namine in the Kingdom Hearts video game franchise, most recently played the lead role of Bianca Stratford on 10 Things I Hate About You. Upon the cancellation of the series, she moved on to several movie projects, including Mean Girls 2 and Sironia.
