Biography

Born on March 7, 1972 in Rigaud, Quebec, Canada, Maxim Roy is an actress best known for her role as the lead on the series Au nom du Pere et du Fils and the sequel Le Sorcier. Her other credits include the 1993 Canadian film Love & Human Remains and the television movie Platinum. She has also dabbled in theater. She founded the film production company Sanna Films, and writing and directing its first film Final Four. In 2009, Roy was cast as flight surgeon Claire Dereux on the ABC space-themed drama Defying Gravity.
