Matthew Arthur is a self-taught designer who joined Project Runway season 11 upon the encouragement of his roommates. He was sent home in the fifth week of the competition where he failed to impress the judges during the Miranda Lambert challenge. He currently works as a manager of a large salon in New Orleans. In the past, he worked at a teacher supply store.
