Biography

Born on January 3, 1970 in Greenwich, Connecticut, Matt Ross is an actor best known for his role as Alby Grant on the HBO series Big Love. After finishing from The Julliard School, Ross went on to appear in several series, movies, and stage productions. He also played roles on several movies, such as Glen Odekirk in Martin Scorsese’s The Aviator, Eddie Scott in George Clooney’s Good Night, and Good luck, Luis Curruthers in Mary Harron’s American Psycho, Ron Hweitt in Pushing Tin, Dan Powers in The Last Days of Disco, and the lead in the independently produced film Ed’s Next Move. His other films include Last Holiday, Down with Love, Dust, Just Visiting, Company man, Homegrown, Buffalo Soliders, Face/Off, Twelve Monkeys, and PCU. Ross also appeared on the CBS series Numb3rs, HBO’s Big Love, CBS’ CSI: Miami, Fox’s Bones, and the award-winning HBO series Six Feet Under. Ross also wrote and directed the award-winning short film The Language of Love.
