Mark Kelly is an American filmmaker, writer and actor who hails from Oregon. He is credited with over 20 years of stage work, as well as appearances on film and television. He has co-starred in The Star Wars Trilogy in 30 Minutes as Han Solo, starred as the titular character in The Dismantling of Lemuel Pitkin, and performed in other productions. These include The Glass Menagerie, National Anthems, and The Zoo Story. His work both on stage and on screen has earned him numerous accolades. He has received critical acclaim from the Los Angeles Times, CNN, Metro, Daily Variety, LA Weekly, Boston Globe, Oregonian, Guardian (London), Scotsman and the BBC. He has also appeared three times at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. While there, he performed in about 17 productions, with five of them being world and European premieres.
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting at the University of Southern California, Mark Kelly has also gotten television roles. Some of his credits include Alias, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: New York and the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series spin-off, Angel. Kelly also boasts of being the co-star, co-writer, and a producer of the critically acclaimed, award winning short film, Loves Me Loves Me Not. Other roles he is known for is on Mad Men on AMC, and as Travis on VH1’s I Hate My 30s. On the comedy series, he as been described as being full of energy and is Kyle’s favorite co-worker. Travis is also known for trying to use the “Wizard Larry” fantasy children's novels in order to try and reach out to his troubled son, Bickle.
Mark Kelly has also worked on a number of other films, some of them being Unearthed, Dead & Breakfast and Interview, which was an audience favorite of the 2007 Sundance Int'l Film Festival. In 2008, he landed the role of Leonard in Columbus Day starring Val Kilmer.
