The only son and youngest child of Julian Crane and Ivy Winthrop, Fox was extremely spoiled and headstrong. He did not have a good relationship with his mother because she favored Ethan, her son with her true love Sam, over all her other children. This made Fox dislike Ethan very much. During his college years, Fox dropped out and gambled all his money to keep him occupied.
