Two years ago, Scottsdale, Arizona had its biggest party in its entire history when Marissa celebrated her Super Sweet 16 bash. She made her dad rent a mansion for her “Pink Fantasy” party, having everything colored in pink. But she turned on the spoiled princess attitude when she learned that there wouldn’t be any superstar performer for her party.
Still, the party went on. Marissa got her guests awed with her beautiful gown. She got into a fit for a while however, when she heard that there were party crashers, who were immediately sent away. Then, to her total surprise, R&B singer Frankie J serenaded her. And to top her grandiose celebration, she received two cars for presents.
Now, Marissa is already a high school senior. She has all her attention in her music as she is currently the lead singer of the rock band, Defy Tomorrow. They will be appearing on the 2008 Vans Warped Tour. But she has to pause in pursuing a musical career for a while, as she makes her comeback in reality television as cast of Exiled, a reality show on MTV which sends America’s richest and most privileged young people in the farthest corner of the earth, to learn that there’s more to life than fame and wealth.
