American actor Malcolm David Kelley was born on May 12, 1992 in Bellflower, California. He started acting at an early age, working in the entertainment industry when he was only five years old. At the time, he appeared in the series For Your Love, and followed it up with a small role in the sitcom Malcolm in the Middle. Subsequently, he got roles in Girlfriends in 2001, and in Judging Amy in 2002. Also that year, he got his break in the big screen. He was seen as a younger version of the title role in the film Antwone Fisher. In 2004, the actor played the role of Lil Saint in the movie You Got Served.
Malcolm David Kelley then joined the cast of the ABC series Lost. There, he landed the role of Walt Lloyd and was a series regular during the first season of the show. However, he was rarely seen during the second season and was billed as a special guest star from the third season onwards. Since then, Kelley received roles in other shows like Eve, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and My Name Is Earl. He also played the character Jimmy in the TV production Knights of the South Bronx. From 2007 to 2009, Kelley has appeared in two episodes of Saving Grace, portraying the character Benjamin Cooley. His most recent work include the movie The Kings of Appletown and the TV series Gigantic.
Aside from his numerous appearances on film and television, Malcolm David Kelley has also been seen on several commercials. These include those for Cap’n Crunch, Kool Aid, Kohl’s Department Store, and Disney. During his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer and basketball. He has also been a Student Ambassador with People to People Student Ambassador, traveling to the UK to represent the United States.
In 2006, he won a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series (Drama) - Supporting Young Actor for Lost.
In 2006, he also shared a Screen Actors Guild Award with the cast of Lost for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.
