was born August 29, 1979 in Dallas, Texas. Her career in acting started when she joined the Dallas Children's Theatre, where she performed in stage productions and in tours. She also attended Washington Performing Arts High School. In 2001, she received her BFA from the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.

. She played Agent Sexton in the action short film Out of Courage 2: Out for Vengeance. In 2005, she was cast for the independent horror film The House of Grimm directed by Desmond Gumbs. Also in 2005, she was seen in Jonathan Schwartz's comedy movie Frostbite. She was part of an independent film entitled South of Pico in 2007, where she played the role of Susan. The movie focused on four strangers in Los Angeles and their attempts to seek emotional connections. Each individual failed but eventually found each other in South of Pico when they became witnesses to a terrible car accident. It was awarded Best Picture at the American Black Film Festival and Best First Time Feature Director at the Los Angeles Pan African Film Festival.
Aside from the craft of acting, Schwartz loves food and travel. She spent many summers in France, where her mother's family resides, and is fluent in speaking French. She studied at Le Cordon Bleu and specializes in French cooking. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
