Canadian actress Magda Apanowicz was born on November 8, 1985. Having studied at the Vancouver Film School, she developed her professional acting career by accepting roles on various shows. She got her start in 2002, playing a character in the Jeremiah episode “And the Ground, Sown with Salt.” This enabled her to gain enough confidence to pursue her aspirations, taking on more serious roles along the way.
In 2002, Magda Apanowicz was seen on the series John Doe. She was cast as a model in the episode “Low Art,” and was later seen on the film Sweet Lullaby. In 2004, she was cast in the psychological thriller The Butterfly Effect. This enabled her to work with stars like Ashton Kutcher and Amy Smart. Apanowicz was next seen on three episodes of Cold Squad, playing Kassie Harper throughout 2004 to 2005. The next year, she landed a part in the series The L Word, and was next seen as Dodie Bradley on the television production Holiday Wishes. Her subsequent project was Devil’s Diary, before she was cast as Heaven Von Fleet on the short-lived series Bionic Woman. Appearing on the episode “Sisterhood,” she got a chance to work with Michelle Ryan, Miguel Ferrer, Lucy Kate Hale, Molly Price, Kevin Rankin and Isaiah Washington. Also in 2007, Magda Apanowicz began portraying Andy Jensen on the hit ABC family series Kyle XY. The following year, she landed a role in the pilot episode of Caprica as Lacy Rand. The sci-fi series stars Eric Stoltz, Alessandra Torresani, Sasha Roiz, Sina Najafi, Esai Morales, Roger Cross, Polly Walker, Paula Malcomson, and Avan Jogia. Apanowicz also gained popularity for portraying Alex Young on Renegadepress.com. She later signed on for roles in The Andromeda Strain and Every Second Counts. Both projects have already aired on television, and gave the actress much success.
Apanowicz studied at Vancouver Film School.
Magda is also fluent in Polish.
She lived in Poland about an year with her dad's brother Wojciech , his wife Lidia and 3 cousins Maja, Wojtek and Kate .
She attend to school in Jelenia G?ra (Poland) for one year.
