Sixty-year-old Lynn Westphal from Elyria, Ohio grew up in Fremont, Nebraska in a working class family. At the age of 13, he began working at an A&W Root Beer fast food restaurant, and later became manager. While in high school, he participated in the marching band and got into wrestling. In 1965, he was in his senior year and he was named Big Ten Wrestling Champion for the heavyweight division. A very competitive man in every aspect of his life, Lynn is used to leading and staying on top, and is still successful in leading his company in sales. He is also an interior decorator and sells window dressings. At the age of 60, Lynn feels like is 40 and is still very active. He enjoys being the life of the party, loves to cook and have people over the house to entertain. A married man for 15 years, he makes it a point to come home early to help his wife, Marge attend to her 93-year-old father.
Lynn teams up with his daughter, Jenni
on NBC's The Biggest Loser, where they comprise the Green Team. Lynn weighed in at 409 lbs., while Jenni weighed in at 267 lbs. The team was eliminated on the first week, with Lynn's weight dropping down to 390 lbs. and Jenni's weight dropping down to 260 lbs.Exclusive Interview with Jenni and Lynn
